Crafters for Critters

I am organizing a fundraising/ crafts show event to raise money for my local SPCA who is having some finacial problems this year. I am very excited to be doing this and wanted to share this with my fellow crafters. Maybe someone might want to do something similar in their community. I have a small business selling my crafts that I make at local craft shows and though it would be good to do one to help the SPCA. Vendors will pay for a booth space and donate one item to be raffled. All proceeds will go to the SPCA. I am also going to have a booth with different crafts to sell where all proceeds from those sales goes to the SPCA as well. I would love to have a large variety of crafts for the booth. If you would like to help, please donate one handmade craft (even a simple card would be helpful) for this booth. Please e-mail for more info on how to help!

Chocolate Nugget Box Revisted

When I origianlly made this .cut file I used george and celebrations carts. Someone on the Cricut MB liked this .cut file but didn't have the celebrations carts. So I recreated it with George only. The new file can be downloaded from the right under "Cricut DS Cuts". I haven't cut it yet to see how it looks cut, let me know if it works or if there is a problem. Enjoy!

My first BIA Project!

I finally got a BIA and here are some mini books I made with it. I love to recycle when ever possible and I got to use some recycled materials with these. For the covers I used decoarative tissue boxes. I lined the inside of the covers with a cordinating paper and added a little design to the outside of the covers. TFL!

Paper Gingerbread House

I made a Halloween house last year, so I thought it would be fun to make a gingerbread house this year. TFL! This is the house with the light on inside. The Front, one side, the other side, and the front.

Happy Thanksgiving Wreath

I made this with my Cricut and Stampin Up Stamps! I cut out a 12' ring and leaves from the Doodle Charms cart and inked them in fall colors. I attached the leaves to the ring and added the cut out letters. It is a little flat looking, but I like it! TFL!

Card Sets

I saw Pocketful of Cards on http://www.crafttvweekly.com/ and made my own version of them. These cute little folders sets have 4 cards (I didn't decorate them, just used DCWV's card with an already printed design on the outside, blank on the inside) and envelopes.

Chocolate Nugget Box

I can't remember where I saw this on the web, but they made it with 2 punches. Here is my version that I made with my Cricut DS. The nuggets don't fall out of the sides as long as you have it tied tight enough. The .cut file is on the right!

Margarita Glass

I made this on DS for our upcoming "Margaritaville" themed Swarm. The cut file is on the right side with the other .cut files. Thanks to Mamawoolly from the Cricut MB for the citrus cut.

Bath Salts in a jar!

I got the bottles from a friend. She works in a building that has a couple of different types of companies in it. The one company ordered a ton of these bottles, but they were the wrong type so they were just going to throw them out. Knowing that I am a crafty person, she grabbed some before they threw them out. When she gave them to me she said "I know you will come up with something to do with these!" So here is what I came up with! I use my Cricut to cut the tags and stamps from Stampin' Up for the lables.

Haunted Hallowen

I saw a kit to make a haunted house in a magazine. I made my own with a cereal & tissue box and my Cricut. I also made it so I could put a light inside to show thru the windows!

I made this for a friend's birthday last year, she loves red! I used a chinese take out box from the local craft store for the base!
